Directions to NARHAMS Events
Club Launch - Old National Pike Park
Take I-70 to Exit 62 (MD Route 75 North toward Libertytown, about 8 miles east
of Frederick). Turn right at the first light on to Old National Pike (MD
Route 144). Park entrance is about 2 miles on the left (there is a large sign on
the left). Follow the main road to the back of the park. Note that vehicles will not be allowed on the
field until 2007, so be prepared to haul all your stuff from the parking lot.
Club Meetings - College Park Airport
Take I-495 to Exit 23 (Greenbelt Road - Kenilworth Avenue) to Kenilworth Ave.
(MD 201) South. Travel south on Kenilworth Avenue for 2.5 miles and turn right
on Paint Branch Parkway. There will be signs directing you to the College Park
Airport. Follow Paint Branch for 0.6 mile to Cpl. Frank S. Scott Drive and turn
right. When you enter the airport, you will see a sign directing you to the
right to the Operations Center. We meet in the building just to the right of the
Operations Center.
Club Meetings - Hobbytown USA
Take MD 15 North into Frederick from the junction of I-270 and I-70. Exit on
7th Street and turn right at the light into the shopping center. Hobbytown USA
is located on the far side of the shopping center.
Demonstration Launch - Goddard Space Flight Center
Take I-495 to Exit 23 (Greenbelt Road - Kenilworth Avenue) to Kenilworth Ave (MD
201) South. Exit at Greenbelt Roat (MD 193) East. Stay on Greenbelt Road for
about 3 miles, past the main gate to Goddard on your left and the shopping
center on your right. Turn left on ICESat Road. Take the first left
into the Goddard Visitor Center.
